The basalt is from China, the bulk density of basalt is 2.8-3.3g/cm3, and the dense ones have a high compressive strength, which can reach up to 300MPa, sometimes even higher. When there are glassy materials and pores, the strength decreases. Basalt has high durability, many joints, and most of the joint surfaces are pentagon or hexagon, forming columnar joints. Due to its brittleness, it is difficult to obtain large stones. Due to the common porosity and almond structure, although basalt is widely distributed on the surface, there are not many decorative stones available.
